MY STORY

Hi! I’m Riley Lynn—a country singer-songwriter raised in the coastal town of Gulf Shores, Alabama, and often found writing and recording in Nashville, Tennessee. I was born in Kansas City, Missouri, but moved to Alabama at seven, where I grew deep Southern roots that have become a big part of who I am and what I write about.

My love for music started on stage in musical theatre, but I quickly discovered that singing—and eventually songwriting—was where I felt most at home. At thirteen, I was posting cover videos online and singing at karaoke competitions. By fifteen, I was gigging around my hometown and learning guitar on a Fender my parents gifted me for my birthday. That’s when songwriting really took hold—it became my diary, my therapy, and my favorite thing in the world.

I write songs about growing up, falling in love, heartbreak, and all the things in-between. Nothing compares to the magic of watching a raw idea turn into a full song—from a lyric scribbled in a notebook to a finished track in the studio. Watching this process, is where the magic happens for me.

I released my debut EP, Peach Tea, in the summer of 2024—a collection of songs that capture what it feels like to be young, in love, and learning who you are. It’s available everywhere you listen to music.

Thanks for being here—it means the world. Follow along on my socials for unreleased music, upcoming shows, and little glimpses into my life and the songs I’m writing. I’m just getting started, and I’m so glad you’re along for the ride.
